2015 Nebraska FFA Convention ResultsAttendance: 3,799 members registered5,971 total attendees registeredAgricultural Issues AcademySponsors: Alliance for the Future of Agriculture, Nebraska Cattlemen, Nebraska Association of Resources Districts, NebraskaCorn Board, Nebraska Corn Growers Association, Nebraska Pork Producers Association and Nebraska Farm BureauThe Agricultural Issues Academy (AIA) was held for the fifth year. This is an opportunity for Nebraska FFA members to learn aboutthe issues involving Nebraska Agriculture. Thirty students were selected for the AIA to learn about issues in agriculture that mostinterest them. Prior to convention, the AIA participants reviewed materials and researched topics. Students took part in roundrobin sessions and learned how to speak to lawmakers, share a positive message in TV and radio interviews and learned aboutwritten and online communications.
